For someone that finished reading. I am extremely happy with this book. I believe we finally have a book with beautiful art with a realistic story. ML is not so great starting off but as we can see he is developing.
Name one manhwa that has a trashy ML and they didn’t change till the end of the book. Oh I’ll wait……
Fl was once naive and is now learning, we have two developing characters it’s a first for me, the stories is not too fast and not too slow either, it also keeps you on your toes to expect more.
As you read along it gets better and better. you don’t know how good it is to see a book that’s different. I can’t wait to read more,

Everyone in the comment section says the ml us abusive but in my opinion as a person who finished chapter15 it’s more realistic than other stories

Would you completely trust a person with unknown origins only because you have a contract?
But yeah i know the part he stepped on fl feet is a bit too much but other than that i haven’t seen other things to say he’s abusive
And i hope in future episodes no abuse happens and the fl and ml come to trust each ither more in a logical way not like a lot of manhwas out there that they suddenly fall in love out of nowhere and they start being like “wow was she always this pretty?” That’s really cliche and i like to read something that actually makes sense. I hope this story is one of the stories I’m looking for~

I’d love to see a sh*tty character developing to be a better person in the future than an instant good guy who fall in love head over heel with FL at first sight with no reasonable, and lucky me, I can distinguish between fiction and reality. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

The FL is in quite a powerless situation and has to endure pain and humiliation from all sides, but whereever possible she stands her ground and has room for development. It seems to be headed into a Stockholm syndrom love story, whith her winning over and ending up with her tormenter.
Not quite enough my cup of tea to bookmark, but I can see how some might enjoy (haha, you surely can get angry on behalf of our FL… might take a while, though, untill she gets justice)

ok, I’m writing this since I’m seeing a lot of hate on this manhwa.
First, I’m not going to defend anyone in this manhwa since you all are correct about a few things like incest, molestation, and SA. But why don’t we keep some hope? What I mean is, instead of looking at the novel first and THEN the webtoon, why not just focus on the webtoon, and see how that turns out? My point is that sometimes the illustrators of the webtoons themselves change certain scenes during the manhwa, even changing the whole plot. So I WILL try reading this first, and I’ll ignore the novel for the meantime. That’s all I had to say. Bye pookies ✌️❤️

Are the authors normal? Lately, all I see are stories with toxic relationships, where women always endure abuse and end up falling in love with their abusers (never the other way around). And maybe this time there’s even incest, God, how disgusting🤢!!! Do they seriously enjoy writing such stories and adding romanticism to them? How do authors see women? “love prevail over violence”; all women dream of a man who mistreats them and, thanks to their love, they save him? 🤣🤣🤣Seriously, these are topics for a psychiatrist, in reality, these relationships end up in newspapers and in jail……I have no words, and I’ve read thousands of manga, comics, and webtoons in the last 25 years (I’m not kidding). All stories with the same script are ridiculous!! The theme of abuse in stories can be interesting if well developed, but at these levels, it sends the wrong and toxic message! I understand why they can’t find publishers for their novels/webtoons (because good ones like “Solo Leveling” get published, even in my Country).

@V3AMPIEES Well it depends on what you would consider a good ending. In my opinion, it has a bad ending because of all the explicit molestation & maltreatment she has to endure. However if you are still rooting for them to be together – which is the final result – it might be seen as such.

first & foremost two words : absolutely disgusting. I read some spoilers & it’s really not worth one’s time. Let me elaborate. It’s a typical story in which our FL has to go through tons of abuse & se*ual harassment just because the ML has an attachment problem ( due to trauma cause his parents left him). So his plan on marrying her off to a established family in his stead falls through when he starts catching feelings for FL – who plays his sister!! (Wth?! at this point). The guy who is supposed to marry her witnesses some pseudo inc*st scenes between them & therefore he wants to help her “escape” but guess what ! – (Spoiler) – even though she had to put up with various forms of harassment & humiliation, she still falls for ML & ends up with him.
