Instead of trying to make the perfect past, the story is going to prevent a paradox which is my guess on why she would actually disappear if they actually met. Kind of interesting if you think about it. Espin is going to train Xenoc as a kid, so as an adult when the Originals duel Espin will never win cuse Xenoc know her every move, but Xenoc will gradually grow on Original Espin because he notices the similar of the two. My guess is that Espin’s wish is going to be picking up life from where she died. I hope the story still continues beyond that point if it ever gets there.
