Isn’t this plot really similar to, “You Awakened While I was Dead”?
Protag possesses a side character who is the ML’s tutor. She’s supposed to help him “awaken” but fails at it in the original. The original is R rated and has the awakening triggered by the OG FL and ML doing the do. Protag decides to help ML awaken and he becomes obsessed with her… Like, that’s the premise for both stories.
