Interesting dynamic between Empress and Enoch.
At first, I disliked how pitiful she was to.him like a really submissive puppet.
However, it gets interesting because she wasn’t always like that and they cute moments when they were younger.
So when they were younger, Enoch and princess was engaged. Princess liked him, had a deep crush for him.
Enoch was abused by his parents, I think they had him in hopes of making him emperor, because they incited a rebellion against the throne and the king killed his parents. He lost title and became a servant, hence the engagement broken.
Princess still cared for him but Enoch was often targeted for being the traitors son.
Princess still wanted him by her side. He always desired her too but knew the situation wouldn’t allow it especially because she’s daughter of the people who killed his parents.
Now grown, he desires her, gets jealous when other men want her but harbors resentment that he plans to betray her and avenge his parents.
There’s an arrangement between them though, he can toy with her as he pleased if he kept her on the empress seat. He’s at her side but he dictates her whole life.
Enoch is bitter, cold, numb, hateful. And he wants her miserable. He blames her for something.
Princess is his unhappy puppet.
This almost reminds me of “my beloved oppressor.”

It’s really good given the genre, ignore the offended idiots and give it a shot, good story, good art, keeps you guessing, lot of drama. If you have an emotional intelligence above a teenager then you’ll find this go be interesting.
