@nikkorizz exactly. It’s just an expression lmao. Like whenever you say “I’m dying” to any minor inconvenient, either hunger, thirst, tiredness or even just boredom. You’ll get triggered cuz there are people actually dying?
I’m sorry, I’m triggers by them using the words “dirt poor” when they’re not. They’re lower class, yes, but not dirt poor. The first image of her saying that, she has a nice desk with a laptop, with Internet probably and what looks like an air purifier or heater, she’s fully clothed and had plenty filling her desk, and again when she mentions it to the guy, she had a pretty luxurious lunch, a full tray with an omelet with sausages and some other stuff. And I see this all over the internet. You’re not DIRT poor, I don’t care if that’s become w common expression but it’s an insult to a large number of humans in the world that are actually dirt poor. They have to go to public libraries, wearing the same clothing they had since they were kids, shoes with broken soles, measley food, probably no access to water and much less electricity. Like just say it right, you’re not where everyone you admire is, or you’re just “in the dumps” or stuck in a low income bracket but dirt poor, no.

“Dirt poor” is a figure of speech. Do you also get triggered when someone says they are “starving” but they literally aren’t starving?
