i understand people cope with trauma differently but this is absurd. if she decides who lives and dies she’s WORSE than the outsiders that killed their ancestors.
the outsider’s don’t owe tripolians anything in war and politics, that’s life. it’s awful and cruel but they’re fighting for their own country and under governance of their rulers who make those decisions. but SHE’S DECIDED THE FATES OF HER OWN PEOPLE. SHE’S DECIDED TO PUT HER OWN PEOPLE TO DEATH WHEN THEY COULD BE HELPED.
it’s so bizarre to me that the tripolians know this and have still put so much faith in this incompetent fool’s hands. Tripolians are unhappy. they only survive they don’t actually live with hope of prospering, Canola has been a breath of fresh air for them. they’re gaining hope and experiencing positivity and it’s made them happier i don’t see how that can be a bad thing.
if they continue with the old priestess’ way they WILL die out. Starve to death or freeze to death from lack of resources. I don’t see how that’s better in her eyes.
