Well from what I gathered from their history, they must have a tradition of culling the weak and lame, Maybe it’s tied to how they were chased off there land in the plains and force marched into the mountains. I wonder if the old warriors go on a ‘last hunt’ where they go out alone without supplies at the end of their lives and die out there so that they won’t be a drain in the resources of the community. Anyway every society does a form of this, we just have pain killers and Antibiotics now so we have more leeway before we have to write someone off as past saving
