   it’s a pity the art for this one is sooo pretty, because the story could hardly be worse. actually there’s no story, it’s just the lame relationship between this obsessed weirdo that ensnared a pretty comonner or low noble with no money (the bad tl does not help in knowing which one but both are bad) just so she could birth his child. he legit let the OGFL waste away jailed in a room while he used her as a human incubator, and in this version of that story hes constantly stalking his own wife and waiting for her to “slip” so he can do the same to her. frankly I dislike using that kind of terminology, but he’s a huge red flag. it is cute at first bc unlike his thoughts he acts somewhat kindly to her, and the FL does find him endearing, if only bc he’s handsome, but honestly it quickly gets old.

   it also makes no sense that a modern Korean woman would just accept be trapped and toyed around like this, I get that she has very little options, but she’s not even trying to plan anything or even reflect on her own situation beyond surface level understanding of her predicament. in other words she’s like a dazed child wandering around and hoping for her weirdo obsessed husband to like her. it’s just stupid once u stop admiring the pretty art.

   I guess this story would work well if it was a 18+ kinda thing, but as a romance is not only basic but overdone and misogynistic, and the misogyny doesn’t even add any flavor to it, so even that is flat. I’m confused as to how this got that many chapters, honestly.
