uh its ok, im not really intrigued to say the least. I don’t know why but i get the feeling the FL isn’t the brightest, but I’m not gonna give her too much flak for that since I understand her situation. The plot is somewhat cliché and since the FL doesn’t know anything, I don’t know anything so therefore i can’t really get into it. I’ll still read tho.

@miscMech yeah I read the first 3 chapters and he is the selfish one for keeping her practically locked up in the north. The Duke even admits that he has no valid reason (that we know of) except he doesn’t like the MC’s guy “best friend” (we don’t know his personality really) who is the MC in the book she read. It’s absurd to me how selfish the Duke can be even after he learned about her cold constitution.

Reading the first chapter, it looks like the description is just poorly translated.
She didn’t pretend to be his wife, she got transmigrated into his wife’s body. So, basically, she wakes up after almost dying from the cold and finds herself married to some strange man who won’t let her leave and also it’s so cold that she faints from it. Heck, I’d escape too. Like, sorry, but she is not the woman you married.

just by reading the description, I can tell the female lead is selfish
