Honestly thought he was gonna exploit her magic until he mentioned looking for her real family. Although he’s likely doing it for money, he still seems rather nice since he isn’t trying to drag her along but rather being patient and taking her along instead of getting irate when she takes a moment to exit the house and takes a while to ask about her real family.
