And find a prince a companion the good one.. I like his character here, his good and righteous. He like a cupid and a big brother to the two. Third wheeler but not harmful. Don’t change his personality. It make your story unique.😊😁

Something feels off about the orphanage bit.. maybe it’s cuz of all the webtoons I read with corrupt churches housing orphans but I feel off about that burglary.. also romeo called his escapades with roseline “minor slip ups”.. maybe that means he did like her but it was a slip up since his goal was juliet, tho now he’s hardened and twisted his heart so he doesn’t have lingering attachments? Seeing as he’s wanting to use his own child for his own gain and all. Idk, it’s been a while since I read the earlier chapters about him and her in this retelling..
@Leileyani well it IS a retelling for a reason, so I’m sure the author wants to put their own twists on the story. But I do think the author should’ve kept Romeo as just a simple idiot with an ignorant look on the world, it’d be more of a realistic approach. Personally i don’t know much about the Romeo & Juliet story, yet I feel like making him a mastermind without a clear reason is a bit of a turn off.
At this point, although I have never liked Romeo and Juliet the play…. I am struggling to keep liking this one. I have no problems with them making Romeo and Juliet villains but come on, making the Priest who initially gave them the “poison” (it wasn’t poison it was merely a sleeping potion that the idiots took to… well sleep but had not revealed it as such) to stage their deaths, a villain too is going way too far. And also, Romeo was an immature idiot, I can’t buy him being this clever mastermind. They could have made the Prince evil and that would have been more believable
