Well, he’s not their king. He can’t force a divorce on her (as far as I know). His son might be able to, but I doubt he’d actually do that to her. The king’s deal was for his son to marry her for his help, but she’s already married now, not much he can do about it.
Though if they wanted to drag it out with him trying to force things I suppose they could. It’s up to the authors whims after all.
