Imagine calling a maid who was forced to become a concubine a home wrecker xD if she declined becoming a concubine she would have been killed by the king if she avoided the king she would be killed by the queen. I find it amusing how close minded ppl are she isnt a home wrecker if there is no actual love and most marriages back then were contractual/political not out of love.
Now it’s starting to make sense why she wanted to be the king’s concubine so badly. It’s not right to be a home wrecker and it doesn’t excuse her actions, but she was stuck between a rock and a hard place and did the only thing she could to keep herself safe. The other maids could’ve beat her to death. She was limping and they still came out with freaking wooden clubs to beat her with. And she hadn’t even done anything yet, only passed out accidentally.
