main character behavior? tf that’s just what normal friends would say if you keep hounding someone day in and day out asking if they’re dating a best friend that they’ve always considered platonic. at a certain point they’re going to answer you blunty so you stop making things awkward. now if the best friend is only a best friend because they’re attracted, then that’s a whole other problem in itself. if he’s offended by what she said then he clearly sees her as more than a friend. it’s as simple as that because a normal guy would just laugh and be like ‘wait really? that’s how other girls see me? do you think -insert girl he actually likes- thinks that way too?
