I’m honestly speechless… carrot studio(art) ‘and again doesn’t disappoint me with expressive yet harmonious art. I just click this since the art style of the cover was so familiar from “The novel’s Extra” the real thing is ‘I dont expect to like this since it’s about music BUTTT HELL YAH THIS IS HELLA MESMERISING even though I can’t hear the sound just the art itself give’s me goosebumps.

Was reluctant to read since artists usually butcher drawing violinists but I’m actually surprised the art is beautiful! Author/artists is definitely an avid fan of classical music. Idk if they used any AI assistance but regardless, a LOT of effort was put in. The violins look accurate from every angle and even the background violins are drawn in detail! No corners were cut and I appreciate that!
But I can also tell they don’t play bc the characters positioning and bow holds are incorrect and awkward at best. The scenes where their thumbs jammed the bow hair while playing made my stomach clench 🥲 it physically hurt but this is still leagues better than other adaptations (I’ll never forget the horrid 7-stringed violin! Just why? 😭)
Storywise, I find it awfully similar to Chaebol’s Youngest Son just with the included music element. There’s a lot of parallels so if you like that, you’ll like this.
