   Art is fantastic, story is very typical of greek mythology. Lot’s of pain, suffering, betrayal, etc. The gods were generally quite awful so the ML being toxic is pretty par for the course. This is definitely not a light story at all. So far, Daphne is pretty flat and miserable though. Kinda wish the story/characters were more engaging. I don’t know if the gorgeous art will be enough to keep me interested.

   No one has a personality in this story, the only thing that saves them is that the art is very good and it serves as eye candy. Other than that, it’s boring as hell. There’s no chemistry to work with.

   Ml feels like rage bait, he contradicts himself so many time saying sweet nothing to the fl,
   Example: he’ll say something along the lines of ‘ i don’t care if you hate me or takes revenge or whatever, i just want you to feel good’ and then next chapter he’ll slowly manipulate her into thinking or saying that she doesn’t mean it when she said she hates him and want to get away from him. That she’s just confused atm.

   Dude is top class manipulator and it’s very hard to see that if you were to be in love with someone, so i don’t blame the fl for hesitating and is unsure of what she wants

   If this story end it with him being ” ohh i regret everything and a changed man so pls forgive me and give me one more chance”
   I won’t be continuing into this toxic bullsh*t that manhwa been doing for decades now, it’s so old, stop tryna make excuses for stale ass men. Just stop.

   The art is awesome, just marvellous. And everyone’s extremely sensually beautiful in this manhwa.
   But the story – just a big fat NOPE.
   I really don’t understand how some manhwa authors obviously enjoy torturing their female leads so much, for so long and in so much detail 🙁
   A nymph (Daphne) of goddess Artemis loves a god (Phoebus/Apollo), but he thinks it improper and sends her away (although we later on get some flashbacks seeing him also provoking Daphne seemingly).
   Apollo also looks down on Eros/Cupid and the power of love, since he’s the god of reason. Because of this, another goddess – Aphrodite – makes (her son) Eros shoot 2 arrows – an arrow of love for the god Apollo, but an arrow of hate (?!) for poor Daphne.
   From then on, things get really dark.
   Apollo under the power of love/lust suddenly wants Daphne, but even though she feels repulsed now, he still forces himself on her 🙁 A lot of chapters then circle around her conflicting feelings, fear and emotional pain 😡
   In this story, nearly all gods are cruel and arrogant, which is in fact true to the actual Greek mythology that also includes a lot of god-awful (literally) horrible stories about these gods and goddesses…

   Some people said “he cheated on her”
   …. Honey they aren’t in a relationship at first…. He is a God… And a Greek God…Not to say the blonde guy, their greatest Zeus even make a mistake…

   For for now still chapter 16 and there’s not much happen, the female lead keeps repeating her words… The male lead keeps trynna seduce her, Aphrodite trynna involve like an aunt in Indian society,

   I dunno what will they make character development later but now… The art is beautiful but the rest are trash…
