Also don’t understand why she doesn’t gain allies and become king herself and stop her brothers coup?? She’s really going to put all hopes on befriending one random guy and pray he doesn’t kill her. That’s so stupid because 1 what if brother finds out they are friends so he doesn’t choose him as the assassin or her friend flat out refuses the order when the time comes and so a different guy becomes her killer 2 the king finds out she’s still alive and was spared, just like snow white, so he sends another assassin 3 what if he’s already close friends with her brother so all that time spent becoming friends was a lie or part of his coup plot. There’s way too many possible uncertainty. I was actually excited thinking she would learn swordsmanship to protect herself but even that was just to get close to the future Knight, how disappointing. Not saying she deserves to die but her plan includes letting her brother have his way so she’s basically ok with dying again. Crazy she made no plans on stopping or trying to stop the coup that kills her parents
The least White Snow can do in this situation is to AT LEAST give her brother some extra privileges within the palace. Giving him the throne is the END GOAL, to get there you need to make an effort to make him stand out more in front of the emperor.
Also, the emperor and the queen consort may act as “loving” but the emperor clearly gave no respect to his first and former wife who practically came from ANOTHER kingdom to marry him only for her to be discarded away all the way until her funeral. The FL mother is even worse for targeting a married man, even someone who had a child and promoted her own daughter more over the true heir to the throne. She didn’t melt the emperor’s cold heart out of “love”, she clearly targeted him due to her love for power🤬🤬🤬
