Summary
Read manhwa For My Abandoned Love / For My Forsaken Beloved / For My Derelict Favorite / For My Abandoned Favorite / 버려진 나의 최애를 위하여
I entered my favorite romantic fantasy novel! I may be a commoner, but I’m rich beyond belief. I quietly watched the romance of the main characters in the original novel, assuming I would go back to reality after reaching the novel’s ending… However, even after the ending, I am still stuck in this world! As a result, I learned the behind-the-scenes stories that I didn’t want to know. My favorite second male lead, Kaelus, died. Living in poverty without him, I eventually became ill and died as well. I thought I would return to reality, but I went back in time instead. This is definitely… This means I have to save my beloved, right?

Yep, this is a very typical isekai-story, but it’s also a classic one that came before many others that then copied elements from it. So even if it’s all cliché now, it wasn’t so much that at the time when this story was written.
The art is absolutely amazing though! Especially the male lead is simply just beautiful 🙂 He’s also not insufferable like so many black-haired typical male leads nowadays – that part falls to the “original” male lead of the novel instead into which the female lead has isekai’d.
The part I find totally unnecessary is the “first life” of the transmigrated female lead that ends tragically with the suicide of her male lead and the divorce of the main couple from the original novel. After that, the female lead regresses on top of still being isekai’d to the end (!) of the original novel-story.
The whole manhwa is about how she then takes all her chances and knowledge of the possible future that she went through in order to save her bias (and to ruin the delusional “saintess”, the original female lead, although the original male lead is actually worse…).
Another thing I’m unhappy with is that the current female lead receives tons of perks and pretty much everything she schemes also works out perfectly well, she gets every timing right, even the very first scene where she storms into the office of the male lead (however she even knows where it is) in order to thwart his suicide attempt just at the exact right moment…
I also do not understand why the male lead immediately agrees to a contract-marriage with the female lead, even though he’s still totally broken from how his unhappy one-sided love ended…
It’s actually not a bad story all in all though, I liked seeing how the female lead does well in helping “her” male lead to recover, to make their territory strive, and to get her contract-hubby to love her. Especially this shy love story is really enjoyable.
But I dislike that the female lead ruins the saintess and others by just letting a ship sink (people drown, but who cares), and I really hate that the crown prince (the original male lead from the novel) learns about the “prophetic powers” of the female lead and even makes her work for him.
What’s wrong with all those authors who seemingly enjoy seeing female characters despair, but spare male characters who are actually worse people?
Much later on we learn about the goddess – a boringly typical trope – who once helped the original female lead, but then drew back her assistance as the “saintess” became more and more arrogant.
And this goddess is even a “fangirl” herself *facepalm* who “played” the original Hestia (current female lead) before, but then pulled the isekai’d female lead into this world in order to save the current male lead…
Isn’t this goddess a representation of the actual real author themselves? And of course this world is “not a book”, but the goddess still described the world’s story including its ending as a book that she threw into other worlds?! *sigh*

Sorry to say but this is a typical “Shojo” manhwa. Character lack depth of personality. Honestly, almost all character feel like they are simpleton.
To all the people who attack the commenter below me, fighting like die hard fan of this story, you should know that this is pure frictional story and you WILL NOT transmigrate into the story like FL just cuz you are Fangirl.
