I entered my favorite romantic fantasy novel! I may be a commoner, but I’m rich beyond belief. I quietly watched the romance of the main characters in the original novel, assuming I would go back to reality after reaching the novel’s ending… However, even after the ending, I am still stuck in this world! As a result, I learned the behind-the-scenes stories that I didn’t want to know. My favorite second male lead, Kaelus, died. Living in poverty without him, I eventually became ill and died as well. I thought I would return to reality, but I went back in time instead. This is definitely… This means I have to save my beloved, right?

This story is beautiful. It did get me mad that she didn’t dump Kael snd get with the King. Baby you could’ve been a QUEEN 🥺 who needs love?

@Catfish I’m not wrong lol. I know what I’ve read and I can tell Hestia did not fix Cael. She helped him not to kill himself or even think about being suicidal but that’s it. It’s just surface level because depression isn’t just about wanting to die. If you obeserve enough, you’d notice in the novel that Cael is not yet fully fixed until the end because his anxiety is still there. For instance, there’s one chapter where he thought Hestia is attempting to jump from the veranda and it gave him a scare so he locked himself up with her for weeks. He keeps on saying that he can’t live without Hestia and that only shows that Hestia became his support person but that doesn’t imply that she fixed him. Kudos to @elixx_ for the very detailed explanation, that is what I’m trying to say.

Yall are bickering inbthe commentbsection so imma give my thought on the NOVEL of this manhwa- first of all, Hestia did not ‘fixed’ Kael, alright? Depression isn’t something that can be ‘fixed’ by someone else for the patient anyways.
Hestia saved Kael from killing himself. She supported him, consoled him and made him feel that all of his feelings are validated. Hestia was someone Kael can confide his feelings to, even those feelings that concerns Diana, his first love. The trust between these two was built from this relationship. Hestia even told Kael that his love for Diana wasn’t in vain when Kael was feeling down for his wasted time on diana. She told him that he shouldn’t force his self to forget that ‘Kael who loved Diana’ because that’s part of who he become today. Instead, he needs to keep those time as a precious memory of him being able to “love fully.” This is one of the reasons why Kael was able to move on. He realized he gave his everything for that love so there will be no regrets. Kael healed himself with the help of Hestia’s unconditional love, support and understanding, which are essential in supporting people with depression.
On the other hand, Hestia (at first) is in love with Kael just like how anyone would love their kpop idols. Hestia wants the best for Kael and did not see him as a romantic partner (at least during the first half of the story). She even said that if Kael wants to be together with Diana, she would give her blessing to them. She just wants to see Diana to genuinely reflect on herself, apologize for abandoning and condmening Kael (that caused him to die in the past). Hestia just became greedy for Kael in the latter half when Kael started showing her kindness and respect that he would just usually show to the og heroine (Kael wanted to give this to hestia because she deserves it and she is his wife. He kinda thought that hestia was romantically in love with him so he wants to give her his devotion at least- if he cant give his love)
The novel is good. If you are looking for moral lessons, there are many. Such as: Diana believed that a wrong is wrong, even if the wrong actions are for a noble cause. Hestia in contrary emphasized that the world is not black and white and we should respect the other’s situation that led them into doing bad things. She’s not saying that bad people should be forgiven but at least they deserved to be sympathized. Even the ending in most manhwas “and they lived happily ever after” was pointed out in here. A relationship built in love alone will not withstand everything as depicted in rofans. It showed how murky a married life if one is not flexible enough to yield for their partner’s needs and wants. Love wont be enough to hold a relationship without trust and comfort.
This is one of the few novels that depicted depression and anxiety as what it will really look like in real life. Kael’s situation was frustrating. Helios and Diana’s selfishness are maddening. Hestia is deceitful and manipulative. The characters are not romanticized. They act very human.

Probably one of the best reads I’ve ever had. The novel is just 30 chapters short plus side stories and epilogues. If you enjoyed the manhwa, you will probably enjoy the novel too (much better). For those avid shippers of the ML and FML, read chapter 28 🥵🥵. You will like it😌

@mdzsehuns, you’re wrong. It was hestia who fixed Kael,even Kael and hellios acknowledged that. Hellios likes Hestia because she’s different from Diana,who insist that she’s always right. Hellios saw how Hestia fixed Kael,how she saved him and how she continuously support Kael even after their marriage. Hestia respects Kael and even help him in many ways,while Hellios’ wife continue to think that she’s right and those nobles are wrong and evil.

nah if you read the novel you will notice that the depression of cael is solved by himself alone, the FL is there to support him but she’s not the one who “fixed” him. He fixed his self for her because he was afraid she’ll run away. The process of Cael is really slow and you can see the little by little progress of him and it’s very realistic unlike other manhwas novels that romanticize depression. Even when they are already confirmed their feelings for each other, his anxiety was still there. Also, as for the FL, she was a fan before she isekaid right? But she already experienced one lifetime there inside the novel before he regressed and she saw Cael died. She truly loved him and therefore seeking revenge for him. I can’t say that her methods are morally right but it’s a revenge manhwa so you shouldn’t expect a goody two shoes FL. And tbh the OG FL is literally a clown, she’s already married to the Crown Prince and yet she still clings on Cael. And the CP on the other hand wants to covet the Marchioness because he find her personality and different ways of doing things attractive not to mention her so called vision of the future (since she knows the OG novel right) which infuriates the OG FL to do bad things to FL bc according to her she snatched her men lmao I wanna explain further but i might drop some major spoilers that other readers might not want to see sooo ciao
