Yeah I’ve said it once, I’ll say it again. Hestia is in this for revenge SOLELY for Kael.
This isn’t a good guy vs bad guy story, it’s protagonist vs antagonist. He’s isn’t SUPPOSED to be a perfect good guy main character, she’s a vengeful spiteful stan who’s fixing the story so her bias comes out happy, healed, and on top, in the best position she can give him in this society.
She’s not a morally upright citizen, she’s a pissed off fan. This is a revenge story, not a live and forgive kumbaya story.
when you read a story that is built on a heavy revenge plotline you learn to expect less from the main character, in fact, the farther their hatred goes the less you should expect from them. the author of this manhwa didn’t create hestia for her to do charity and expect no gain from it, no, they want her to do the opposite and that’s what she’s doing right now. they didn’t want to create a hero for the sake of the masses, they want to create a hero only for Kael.
as far as the story is concerned, Hestia strongly believes that her sole reason to exist is to aid Kael stand back on his feet plus making him the noblest man in the empire. but how do you think she’s going to do that? do absolute good and raise Kael’s reputation along with it? of course not, Hestia assumed that her time in this world is awfully short so she’s alternating to the fastest but cruelest method that basically boils down to use everyone for her gain and cut everyone that stood in her way, this method just happen to work in her favor by exacting revenge to Diana and Helios so she happily took it.
lastly, if you ever think why Hestia never feel like no one in that world is on her side or why she never feel familiar to that world even though she experienced it once. that depends on how much she wants to accept that world and the people around her. Hestia can go lifetimes after lifetimes in that world and still feel like she’s a foreign entity that shouldn’t belong there. Hestia is under the impression that her life right now is inside a fairy tale that she could wake up as soon as she finished her “job”. needless to say the instant she accepted that world as her reality she’ll be able to gain confidence to continue living with Kael and everyone else in that regard.

diana used him to gain power in the temple by becoming ”friend” with the duke but when a better match appeared one who could make her queen she just threw Kael but kept all the favors he did for her!!!!
and for the crown prince , he used Kael for all his dirty work caling him his “best friend” but didn’t even ask about his well being when he secluded himself in his territory and Kael killed himself !!!
those two are the worse and they deserve everything Hestia could do to them

I just want to add in a few elaborations: Diana didn’t fire that lady, she quit when the Crown Princess refused to listen to her when it came to the affairs of the palace (like that party). Basically, she couldn’t handle being disrespected / seeing the name of the royal family tarnished.
Seeing as how the land belonged to the temple rather than as her personal property, I wouldn’t count it as wealth she owns and could give back. It’s not like she’s the head of the temple or really involved in the running of the temple at all. She’s more like a mascot at this point. (I think the land was given as kind of a bribe to the temple to elevate her position? But I may be remembering wrong. Basically, she wouldn’t even be eligible for Crown Princess if not for Kael – divine powers or not)

IN WHAT WAY DO YOU THINK HES IS ISOLATING KAEL?
In the first timeline, Kael was used by the crown prince to do all the dirty work of the empire. Even Diana benefitted MAJORLY from all that Kael did to the point that it allowed her to become a crown princess, and yet she marked him as a villain despite their years of friendship and trust.
After Diana and the prince got married, it became a known fact that Kael was going through severe depressions but the two of them made ZERO attempts at trying to help him out. Kael’s suicides were practically made public knowledge in the newspapers! The crown prince practically KNEW why Kael had done all those “misdeeds” but he made no effort in trying to clear up the misunderstanding or help Kael out— these two practically grew up as BROTHERS but one girl made the crown prince abandon him.
Diana also affected Hes in the first timeline, after she became crown princess, she stopped acting as a healer at the temple and resorted to only focus on her life in the palace. (Which was majorly stupid on Diana’s part ‘cause she literally lived under the most richest family’s roof and yet openly condemned other nobles for being “extravagant” and “greedy”) Diana was practically the reason why Hes couldn’t survive in the first timeline, she neglected her REAL duty to care for the less fortunate, imagine how many more people also died or were left severely ill because of her neglect.
Even with Kael, the guy had practically gifted the temple a large piece of land to use for the sake of the supporting Diana but after their fight, she not only abandoned her duties as a saintess BUT ALSO MADE NO ATTEMPT TO GIVE HIM BACK THAT LARGE PIECE OF LAND WHEN SHE OPENLY CLAIMED TO OTHERS NOT TO BE GREEDY.
Diana has been nothing but a hypocrite to not only the ML and FL, but likely to all the people of the empire— nobles and commoners. Her main goal was simply to feel special 24/7, not to follow through with her duty and responsibilities. This is exactly why she ended up getting a divorce from the crown prince in the first place. I doubt his love for Diana would have changed if he had found out that she was losing her powers, the reason they broke apart was likely because he saw how Diana never followed through with her promises, it was talk with no proof of action.
If anything, it was DIANA who isolated the crown princess more instead of your (ridiculous) claim that Hestia was doing it to Kael. Diana gave off a bad impression of the imperial family and lost the crown prince his support from the nobles. Diana fired the very woman who raised the prince and Kael only because she didn’t want to hear that woman’s opinion. She made the imperial family also lose the commoner’s support by stopping to visit the temple. Diana made no attempt in taking up her role as a crown princess seriously and didn’t follow through with any of the paperwork. AND she drove a wedge between two friends who grew up as brothers and made no attempt to bring them back together.
Hestia did the exact OPPOSITE. She simply did what any sane person would do by making all the toxic people who surrounded Kael go away. Kael needed a safe place and Hes made him realise that he was still loved by the staff of the Dukedom and all those under him. She allowed him to heal through his hobbies and was always there to support him when he had to deal with his trauma.
Hestia’s actions towards Diana are in no way “out of jealousy”😒 if u saw it like that then that means that you’ve basically never even read the initial chapters.
I wonder if caelus have already feelings with hestia,until now there’s no changes to their relationship(no development at all, although I read many chapters already),caelus still inlove with the pink haired bitch, i feel bad for hestia and caelus always doubt her,he is so blinded by his love for Diana that it makes me wanna drop him as the ml,I want to smack his head for him to wake up!!

Her only aim is to selfishly monopolize Kael… I know she saved him from his suicidal ideation but to put EVERYONE as the villain in her fantasy is too much for me. She ready to let the people around them suffer just to prove herself right in a situation.
I repeat, her attack on Diana is too much. I haven’t seen anything that warrants such level of hate except pure jealousy. Unless I’m there books, Diana is worse but it’s not being conveyed here properly.
