I don’t understand why people criticize Hestia so much.
First of all, Hestia hasn’t been in that world for a long time, so as you’ve may have noticed, she still sees herself as an outsider and observer rather than someone who belongs to it. So for her, her favorite character is one of the only things she feel somehow related to and at the same time, it’s something that gives her comfort. So when the two MCs led him to end his life, it really affected her. But obviously that’s all about how she feels.
That’s where other factors come in, so let’s say that what she’s doing isn’t justified and you’re just prioritizing your feelings, but is that really it? No. Even if she were a character that did belong to the world from the beginning, the princess did neglect her and other commoners after raising to her position thanks to their support and made her witness a dead of someone (even if she didn’t like Kael and didn’t know anything about him, it can still be traumatic to see a corps of someone who you just met, in fact, it could have been worse if she just met him and then next time, he killed himself and she didn’t know anything about his circumstances).
So I do think it’s ok. The FL is just someone who like to think she is special and has gone through a lot of hardships and worries about people and living humbly, when in reality, as soon as she was appointed as the crown princess, she stop treating commoners and chooses to wear expensive dresses, but like to pretend they are not just because the design is simple. Moreover, she like to put other people down to look good. She prides herself on believing in God and the holy beliefs, but can’t bring herself to apologize to a friend of hers even though he did that for the sake of the country and its people.
I’ll speak in defence of hestia cause I think a lot of people are getting caught up in what she’s doing and not why.
She witnessed the affects they had on Kael, whom she loved *cough* obsessed *cough* over and those actions forced to him to take his own life. Neither Diana nor Helio cared. They used him go get ahead and then abandoned him to pursue their own happiness.
If this was to happen to your friend or lover or someone you care so deeply about, I don’t think anyone would be rational or fair. (Some may and that’s good for them to have such strong morality, however others do not suffer the same afflictions).
Hestia isn’t just attacking Diana because she thinks it’s fun, she’s attacking Diana because to her, Diana committed a crime worse than anything imaginable and that is directly causing the death of someone she cared about. Diana is still going to be Diana, so the best revenge is to make everything she worked for on the back of Kael crumble.
At this point I’m convinced that Helio and Diana don’t deserve to be the King and Queen..
And the nerve of Helio to seek Cael cuz he needs comfort tf?! You bestfriend is depressed and is suicidal yet you happily married and didn’t bother to visit.. and yet when he’s already doing okay and you feel shit you need him..
The pace of the story is so longgggggggg…
While chapters gets too short as well..
No development in any of the characters and the issue is being dragged on for too long..
I think it’s okay if this story isn’t for everyone. I agree that Diana’s not outright evil, and is more just someone who’s not fit to rule as empress. I ALSO love being a h8er, and thus will continue to enjoy Hestia being manipulative.
Hestia gives the rope, but ultimately it’s the ml and fml who decide whether or not to hang themselves with it. Even here she outright figures that the main leads have already made up/talked things out.
I think all in all, people have to keep in mind this is a story about a stan getting revenge on those who wronged her favorite. It’s about catharsis and revenge, so like, if that’s not up your alley, maybe stop reading.
I love Hestia; she’s obsessive but keeps her boundaries. She has a clear picture of what she needs to do and she does it.

Diana is a two-faced goodie two shoes but, I don’t think it’s her true character, I think it’s a result of choosing Helio (coz of his position) and becoming the Crown Princess from being a commoner and having to adapt to the political noble world.

I don’t think Hestia needs to go out of her way and ruin the two on a personal level but on a political level coz Helio and Diana aren’t suitable for their roles as rulers. Hestia mentions that the kingdom fell to ruin under their rule after Kael died coz neither had a talen for politics and Kael was their political tactician.
Diana played with someone emotions for her own benefit then left them in sorrow because she didn’t want to look bad. She sucks🤷🏽♀️ hestia does need to face kael.
I’ll just say it… I dont like Hestia.
I think she’s creepy and obsessive.
Diana is not a “villain” worthy of this much hatred.. geez!!.
Hestia needs to calm down and face kael.
