@chinny Diana’s crime is that she used Kael to build her reputation as a strong saint with a strong ally! when you know somone loves you and you don’t reciprocate you can’t give him false hope! you don’t hang out with him like a lover would, you don’t accept extravagant and high priced girfts, but she did, knowing fully well that she’ll break his heart, and even after this she played dump and innocent but wanted everyone to do things her way, she thinks she’s always in the right and the whole word should follow her rules and desires, if not she’ll go cry to her husband like a spoiled brat, that’s just so annoying, and after reading some spoilers about the novel, let me tell you the list grow longer and longer with the chapters
I hate Diana, not because Hestia hates her. As someone who read the novel version, Diana’s action stemmed from her belief and stubbornness – an act that will never accept anyone’s action as right if it is not aligned with what she believes. Unlike the crown prince who admits they made a mistake, Diana will never do that.
It is true Cael is responsible for his actions and feelings. But would you leave your friend to die when you knew he suffered greatly because of how you turned your back on him? As a human, you need to have a way to understand that we are capable of being hurt.
I respect other people’s opinions, but this is one of my favorite novels that I’ve read countless times, so I have this feeling to defend Hestia.
@chinny I won’t say that your opinion is wrong because you have the right to say whatever you feel. In my opinion I feel like as someone she used to hang around with and “claims”that she cared for, she didn’t show that back . yes she is a married woman, yes they were friends and he had feelings for her and she does not have those feelings back . At the end of the day they seen each other as friends when he was going through something depressing where was she nowhere to be found and when she finally found that information she still didn’t do anything but cried to her husband in disbelief. And she still didn’t ask was he doing right or anything if anything the only person that care for his well-being was her husband the prince not her yet she consider him as someone that is dear to her . And if anything I don’t think our FL is being a bully if anything she’s calling the Diana on her BULLSHIT does she thinks nobody can smell but our FL does. Once again in my opinion I feel like she thinks just because she’s the same and she’s the Crown Princess she be giving everything friends love despite anything of how they’re feeling. Well now she has that love from somebody that she chose but she can’t look displeased or disappointed when she finds out that someone who deeply loves her has found someone else she made that choice to be with someone and that someone is now finding love elsewhere like I said it’s your opinion but I don’t think she is a bully…….
P.S with all the knowledge that our FL has she could be a total bitch to Diana but she’s her goal nor is she focused on her she’s more focused on someone that she loves and wants to help.

She just did not love kael back. Is that now a crime ..? She never asked kael to kill for her. He did on his own and got shocked by her reaction.

Kael didn’t handle rejection well and try to kill himself suddenly it’s Diana‘s fault? What?? Preposterous!!!
I know we are meant to side with the female lead, but let’s just calm down and rationalize it. Diana is not a saint neither is she a demon? Hestia is very partial in her judgment. In a way, she has forgotten the crown, prince and is now facing Diana.
This is a classic case of women against women, for no reason.
@ericajeno actually, in the novel, Kael has open up to Hestia during this point of the story (by about 50%, he has acknowledge her as his wife too), cant remember which moment but I remember the Tea Party Diana had, when Hestia was thinking of what clothes she would wear, Kael was actually with her when she first met with Dekima, unlike here in manhwa and I think it was Kael’s idea to have broken glass on her dress (the glasses are in smallest form so that the dress will have a shiny effect – like how sequences do on our modern clothes)
i really like hestia’s way of thinking. she may have bad decisions but shes always rational about everything unlike other isekaid fls who are so dumb and pushy about the characters relationships from the novel.
Hestia is so fcking strong for that like wow the way she can talk about the woman who her love used to love? You have to have strong mental and emotional capacity for that… SO ANGSTTTTT!!!!!

Hestia is sucha wonderful wife! Irl, we girls just gona be so freaking jealous or just dont wana think abt our bfs/husbands past memories with their exes. Hestia just disentangle his feelings soo easily.
