Well, Kael was originally an object till she was transmigrated into the LN world. Although what you say is logical, a true otaku will still get flustered… I simp for Vincent Valentine and Sephiroth (btw, Kael looks very much like Sephiroth too 😂 – kinda like his naive version)… Also, lets look at it from another perspective, the series is a drama and contains a lot of negativity (depression, suicidal), what Hestia is doing is lighting up the mood so it won’t look too dark and depressing, after all, the series is tagged under 18+ content, its not easily accessible in kakaopage… I actually like what Hestia is doing, it doesn’t exactly ruin the flow, but giving it a nice break, instead of full depressing flow of story.
I am getting a little irritated by her acting like a teenage fan girl. She has lived with and married to him for months. She should be somewhat desensitized. Plus she lived multi lifetimes and is a grown up. I can see being flustered at first but the continued acting of it is a little ridiculous it takes away from the seriousness of his commiting suicide and depression. It makes it seems that she that she doesn’t actual care about him as a person but more like an object.
