@BookObsession actually it really depends, of course lots of romance transmigration stories it’s a happy ending and FL stays in ML’s world blah blah, but usually lots of QT settings also involve characters nearly dying or actually dying, then needing to complete missions to return to their world
Oh? Is Hestia going to revist the little angel and devil from her shoulder? I remember in the very beginning chapters she did sort of interact with them but then stop.
Sorry but our ml deserves a little bit punishment he should fear loosing her more then anything so deserve
Because imwe all know she’s going come back eventually
I agree with @Aquliondew. You can not regret loving someone and still love someone else after. He can still give his new wife the same devotion and love. Not regretting his love for Diana can be viewed as that love teaching him a lesson. Diana is the one who should truly be punished. She picked Helios not because she truly loved him but because he had more power. And then she tried to get Kael to come back to her because she felt he had loved her more.
.
Also, I don’t know what Hestia meant about other transmigration stories ending with the person going back. Rarely is that shown in any I’ve read and if they do go back [in some way], the guy ends up going with her in one way or another. But maybe it’s different for her universe’s transmigration stories
> Rarely is [the person going back] shown in any I’ve read
its much more common in tv drama. This entire written genre is built on subverting expectations from the tropes used in Asian tv shows. I’ve seen massive transmigrations k-dramas & c-dramas where the ending of their final episode is the MC returning back to their regular life and changing for the better somehow.
Notice how many of these novels/manhwa have MCs with tortured/abusive IRL families that they would never want to go back to? Early webnovels were written with this premise directly as a kind of pushback against the “ideal happy ending” these tv shows had of returning home after the end of an “adventure” in a fantasy/historical setting.
So as per novel spoiler diana does get disposed but the crown prince gets married once again and likes happy with his new wife,…. I truly don’t think he deserves that like yes he’s not diana level of evil but he is wrong.. and he always says how he doesn’t regret loving her if makes me sad thinking about the future wife cuz she’ll never recieve this sort of devotion from prince…
THANK YOU!!! I feel the same. Everyone’s been pitying him bc “he’s changed” and whatnot but he wasn’t actually remorseful until AFTER things started going badly for him. I’d love a story where they truly regret their actions and respect their victims boundaries like hello?? And I honestly hate that once again, guys get redeemed and girls are just “them bishes be crazy”. Granted I do think he’s more recyclable trash than others but still, villainesses (to the MC even when she’s the “villain”) are NEVER redeemed and reformed. What in the witch trial?
Well the Prince choose his wife over a friend. The Prince won the affection of the girl he loved, why should he be punished just because he loved her more than she loved him? It is just like the saying you would rather loved and lose than not have loved someone at all. It does not mean the prince can not love someone else.
