This situation definitely got more complex, and misunderstanding will arise, but all i can hope for is that Kael and Hestia stick together, and trust eachother
I think what people are misunderstanding is that, Kael isn’t really accepting the apology when he told Diana she’d apologized enough. that wasn’t him saying, “I forgive you.” that was him saying, “I’ve already moved on, so I don’t care about you anymore. your apology means nothing to me, so stop apologizing”
i dont think hess thought through to end game
like if this is a novel, the bad guy fades into obscurity and the hero lives happily ever after
but over and over again, she has to be reminded this isn’t a novel anymore
I agree with Kael too. I think the revenge is enough already, time to distance yourselves and simply let it go and live your own lifes. Hestia is kind of obsessed now, I get it that she wants to see it through till the end and till Diana is completely crushed, but I think it’s enough already and that Kael is already over with the past and healed, he’s ready for his new life and that’s why he doesn’t care anymore with an apology
Hestia is not deciding for him y’all, Kael agreed to this. He knew what Hestia is about to do and her plans and him suddenly backing out and deciding to forget about it was like him wavering in Hestia’s eyes. She’s insecure and seeing you boyfriend forgive your ex after an insincere apology was so wrong no matter what.
It’s frustrating how some still don’t understand why Hestia was hurt. She was ready to forgive everything IF Diana had offered a sincere apology to Kael but Diana remained selfish to the end. What truly broke Hestia was Kael accepting that insincere apology, as if all her pain and effort were equal to Diana’s empty words. It was heartbreaking. Her breakdown was valid.
I think a much better revenge would be to let Diana stay as crown princess. She’ll become a queen hated by her subjects and not trusted by her servants. We’ve already seen her rocky relationship with Helios she she is stuck in a possible unhappy marriage (if both her and Helios could work it out possibly but he would still be her only ally.) Any children they have will also not be liked or trusted. In fact i wouldn’t be surprised that the nobles demanded Helios have a child with someone else so the kingdom can have someone “acceptable” as heir.
I kinda think it would be worse for her to stay a crown princess but because of her corruption she is rediculed a isolated from any and everything leading to her eventual full breakdown off emotions.
The reason Hestia was so upset here was because it felt like everything she had been doing all this time amounted to nothing. And honestly, I don’t blame her for thinking that Kael wavered. He knew why she was doing it. He understood her purpose—he supported it. So for him to suddenly dismiss it, to swat it away like it didn’t matter, must’ve felt like he was shooing away everything she had poured her soul into. It was her only reason for existing in that world… and he made it feel meaningless.
Some people might be upset with Hestia for constantly seeking ‘revenge’ for Kael, but honestly I understand her. She truly believed that her regression happened for Kael, that it was fate giving her a chance to help him. That belief became her purpose. So she dedicated herself to exposing Helios and Diana’s wrongdoings. But when all her efforts ended up amounting to nothing, it felt like her entire reason for existing was stripped away. Her decision to jump off the balcony wasn’t just out of despair, it came from deep insecurity, from feeling like she didn’t belong in that world. She saw herself as nothing more than an outsider in someone else’s love story, and to her, it felt like she had reached the end of the line.
Thats right i agree with you this time kael is not understanding in what situation hestia is ..he is hurting her above all she was in despair too what about her why are you being so kind for some bitch but cruel for your wife who loves you more than any thing else
