That.. her saying she’d heal him with the power of love.. that is naive as hell.. the trauma doesn’t just go away once someone starts to love, the trauma is still there.. it’s just a matter of trying to handle it.. and also her saying she understands him and saying the reason is to make up for the love he didn’t get from his mom, whether or not that is true, that isn’t likely to get a happy response.. and tbh.. holding onto him despite him not being into her and is seeking other women isn’t ok, I can get if they simply marry without any intentions for love and just let each other do their own thing but this.. she needs to refuse the engagement before she gets hurt more.
