i facepalmed soo hard i think i broke my neck. I know this comic is based on the book and many things are left aside to speed up the production of these, otherwise they would need like 300 plus episodes to cover the book trilogy. But WTF???? then his suicide was pointless. If his intentions was to help Ethan take the throne why couldnt he just help him and ask his daugther to join him in his crusade to help the price? Soo many things could have been more simpler. Because with his plan soo many things could have gone wrong. In fact THEY DID. She was forced to fight the prince all because of this stupid oath she was force into and they nearly kill eachother. She could have killed the prince. Soo much for this master plan i guess. Some people have said that cylia had a plan to challage the prince into a fight and then let him kill her so the knights can be free from the oath and ethan can take the trone but i dont know if this is redacted on the book or if its just made up, but whatever the case im giving the books the benefit of the doubt and say that this is all explained in there because in the comic nothing makes sence.
