if some of yall are confused on why he left camellia suddenly its because of some bruises around her chest area. She has been hiding her breasts for so many years with corsets and bandages that it has left marks all over them its explained in the novel, so he got really pissed off at that cause she had to hide her identity just for the sake of the family by hurting herself/body
I did not understand what the duke saw once Camellia’s breast bandage was removed…. and why then take it out on her brother who is on her side ? Perhaps because he waited too long not caring for his sister ? Rather go straight to his stepmother and father to claim the girl’s dignity !
