I understand if hes talking about their brief encounter.
But didnt she held him hostage?!
Has he forgotten all about it?!

And although she did mention that she has just returned home upon her father’s request, why did the conversation flow as if she were there from the beginning?!
Either the author lost track of his/her own creation or the translators made a blunder.
