@Onee-san What doesn’t click to me is that the emperor doesn’t have CCTV in their house. Why was Regis cold to his daughter outside of the palace for so many years??? It’s such a plot hole that I know the writer will fail miserably to try to explain. Like he could have been such a loving father in private and kept a cold appearance in public. No harm done. No misunderstanding… and no story too, I guess. However, it got me thinking about whether a manhwa based only on one weak element (misunderstandings) deserves to be serialized. They must really lack good writers in this genre if they couldn’t find a better story to adapt.
To think of it, Regis didn’t actually abandoned her daughter but he obeyed that fuckshit emperor. He loves Jubelian, and Jubelian thought that her father didn’t love her. Urgh! They must be misunderstood from the very staaaart!
