I get the dad never meant for the Jubelian to commit unalive, but can I point out how ridiculously idiotic his plan was? Dude treated his daughter coldly her entire life, then gives her a dagger right before throwing her in jail and says “endure it”. How was she NOT supposed to misunderstand his intentions? Also WHAT WAS EVEN THE POINT OF THE DAGGER? The crown prince was gonna come in afterwards to help her anyways, and even if was to protect herself, what was she gonna stab one dude then get frame-1 bodied straight afterwards by the rest of the guards? And if the guards caught her with the contraband then the dad’s def gonna be exposed as helping her since he saw her last. Dude choked the plan
