1. The true main character is Regis. Jubel is his driving story and max is one of the anti-villain’s with a united cause. You still need Jubel to drive the story because it’s about a dad who would sacrifice everything for his child (mentioned SEVERAL times)
2. Please see previous statement but also: the girl has been through 2 lives and a lot of bullshit for years. I said before, but people have KO’ed themselves for less. Realistically speaking: I’d struggle with that stress, too.
3. Your child being an asshole doesn’t excuse genocide. He killed his son. He could’ve ruled and been a better King but chose violence and genocide. It’s Paphnir’s fault.
4. It shows that Max and Regis love and care for the common folk and that the people are truly touched by that and love them back.
Mind you, I’m not trying to be a jerk. I’m just explaining.
1. The true main character in this novel is Max and Legis. Even there is no jubel, the novel can pr9ceed but just with several twist and turn here and there.
2. Jubel really doesn’t have much impact in the storyline. She does nothing other than cry and a little at the end. Even trice had more character development than her.
3. When I think about it, the true villain is Paphnil’s son, a.k.a the ancestors of the royal family because I honestly don’t blame Paphnil from being in rage because HIS OWN SON CUT OPEN HIS HEART AFTER HE CREATE A COUNTRY FOR THE SON. I honestly think he had the rights to be angry. But still his actions is unforgivable.
4. What is the role of the mercenaries they met at the gambling place that day actually?
