Death is final and from what I can see, her death didn’t help her family. It just feels like she chose to not be lonely over protecting her family. Legis has a lifelong trauma now and Jubel grew up thinking she was unloved and they’re both being used as tools by the Emperor. I don’t see how her death was helpful to her family.
