nowhere is it implied that she regrets anything. but she can question why she thinks about him so much. that she can’t stand out and be there dancing with him anyway because the empress is more important to her and everything could blow up if she’s noticed. jeez..

Sorry, writers, but you can’t just say there’s something there when the leads have zero chemistry and retcon in a flashback that should’ve shown up in a previous chapter as an excuse.
Why are the thought bubbles making it out like she regrets serving her majesty and not being by the prince’s side, when she was previously, “I found my life’s purpose and it’s to support Her Majesty”
