This distrust is so stupid and tiring, the only reason people betrayed him was because of succession issues that no longer exist. I get that trauma is a thing but at this point he is just trying to find excuses to distrust her rather than actually investigating her, which is just petty considering that he practically begged her to be there
to be fair, it sounds liek the incident between Durna and Luira took place after the succession problems quieted down — like it was just someone looking to weaken the Duchy. so, you can’t be too careful, I guess
