Seriously, without foot protection you’re ridiculously immobilized in most natural environments and any little pointy thing becomes potentially life threatening (infection).
Every step becomes a chore you have to pay attention to.

I agree that she should protect her feet with strips of her dress but you’d be better off discarding a high heel, you can’t get a normal shoe from ripping off the heel, it’s shape doesn’t allow for that. You wouldn’t be able to walk properly let alone run in a shoe shaped like that
