I was really hoping that she would actually Raise some cats and that her and the Duke would bond over the cats instead of the old trope of bonding with the animal that happens to be the love interest 🤐 But it’s still early in the story so maybe?!
I’d have just verbally torn that silly bitch into pieces. That’s the best hazing she could do? Something so unoriginal and lazy? I’d tell her I was disappointed but not surprised she didn’t even have the dignity to be a proper host, but I’d expect at least some effort if she wanted to bully. Then I’d just leave.
Her response of just sitting on the woman is golden though. I wouldn’t have thought to be that wild!
