I’m so sorry but I don’t know why I’m so invested in this. I think it’s because they both genuinely feel like people. I know he has red flags, but he feels like an ACTUAL person with them, like I don’t know how to explain this, but the characters in this story, however cliché they may be, *feel* like people. Of course this situation isn’t realistic at all, but.. they just feel a bit closer to real people than in other manhwas. Would I say they’re a 100% representation of real people? Of course not, there’s still a long way to go. But this is such an improvement from your generic manhwa. you know what I mean right?
And I really like that, because I feel that even if your plot is the most interesting thing ever, if your characters don’t genuinely act like humans, I won’t get attached to them and hence the story as well. I hope other manhwas do this as well.
I get the “ML is a redflag” comments. But at the same time, he actually never had adulthood. In all previous lifetimes, he got killed while he was a child, wake up when he was an adult (still has the mind of a child), got trained non stop and sent to kill the Demon king or whatever, and right afterwards he got his revenge, just to time loop to start again. So after, for once ML actually had a chance to live his life, and have normal human interaction thanks to FL, he started to change.
