Agree with @Bayya28, it will be easier for him to just throw a pitty story about his brother wanting to separate two ppl than live eachother and gain supporters to rebel.
Things still end up well for that 3rd Prince. They both still retain their titles and status. And they never die! Plus when he’s far away, all the more easier to plot the rebellion!
