Without even mentally preparing her for what might come, he threw her into a carriage and brought her away from the life she knew. How is he even going to protect her when he isn’t even going to be by her side most of the time? He frustrates me so much. I read the spoilers and yet I keep reading this, thinking oh, maybe it might be different. I might be the actual fool here.
Great time to stress her out and change her life, right at the earliest stages of pregnancy which are THE MOST DELICATE and risky stages. She could be at high risk of losing the baby! And then what? Now people will have another thing to criticize her for and nobles will have even more reasons to push their daughters onto him.
I agree with Diane. FL is too naïve and I don’t see her surviving politics. Not only that, she constantly puts herself down and that is doing nothing to help her progress. Since I read the spoilers as well, I can clarify that he is indeed a self-centered trash man.
And his selfishness shows in the current timeline as well. He’s so focused on making a better life for him and Rose, but doesn’t stop to think about Rose’s feelings or what she’s currently going through. Especially as a pregnant woman…why did he even think it was a good idea to enter a power struggle with his pregnant wife?? what if someone tries to assassinate her, or kill her baby to prevent heirs of mixed birth?
This is why communication is so important in not just a relationship, but a MARRIAGE. Like come on dude, just swallow your pride and talk. They’re both pissing me off with how they’re acting.

Love is all about sacrifice. The deeper the love, the greater the sacrifice.
He wants his love and the throne both at the same time which is inherently impossible.
And has yet to realize that yet while claiming to love her.

MC is too focused on correcting all the mistakes he made the 1st time, he’s not really paying attention to the results as he goes.
Mc is not paying attention to rose what his doing is trying to prevent the outcome of what happened in his past life and not considering her opinion in all this . NOT to mention she is pregnant and taking etiquette lessons on top of that having to handle all that mental stress from the nobility. Imao
