Hmmm an idea to gain power from families while also no marrying all their daughters (disgusting) is to maybe hire a son or something into a high position beside the emperor. That way families get status and reputation without the emperor having to marry all those women? He let his wife suffering and when she wanted to leave he responded with the most egotistical way “but I did it all for you?”em, emotional manipulation, gaslighting? He still does it in the present.
Yea his doing the same mistake he did in his past life . he is making her suffer and misrebel again if the point is to make rose happy and live peacefully with her then he should leave all that royal drama behind and go somewhere else with her that way they both get to be happy
