I get the feeling it didnt help Rose’s mental health coz she was most likely thrown into the palace and had no chance to process her new position, her husband’s identity, noble life on top of being the Empress whilst also being a new mother. It must’ve been a lot for Rose. He can be the Empreror if he wants to but as her husband, he should be protecting her and the best way to do that is to make sure she can protect herself. All those skeletons he’s hiding for her benefit will only lead him down the same path as before.

THE END. OH MY I DIDN’T REALIZE I JUST CREATED A KDRAMA PLOT 😅🤣
