It’s so nice to see how the stories incorporate how the constraints of tradition and social landscape dictates even the most “liberal” person here (a woman as a high ranked knight who has her own title and fief). This also draws a nice comparison on how, to some extend, even now women still need to become “a man” or have masculine qualities to be taken seriously and to be successful.
