I concur. Incompetent is the correct word. I mean, you don’t reach A rank as an explorer without knowing how to gather information from other explorers. It is idiotic not to have been aware of what happens when obtaining an artifact and to know the many different types that exist. You’d have to be truly incompetent not to have known that kind of information beforehand, especially if you’ve never managed to reach one. You want to know what’s happening so you look for that answer in others who have achieved it…
