So far… I feel like this is just torture p0rn with every other chapter being a humiliation ritual for the poor FL. I don’t like the ML and his sister either. Poor FL doesn’t catch much of a break. If I were in her position, I would have offed myself… So much suicide and suicidal mentions. If you’re not in the best mindset, this may not be for you. It certainly isn’t for me. The art is beautiful though and the story is interesting. I like FL and I love her personality. It just looks like it will take a long while before she’s happy in the story, if ever.

I don’t agree with the spoilers! I’ve read up to chapter 50 in the novel. The characters are both clever, just clueless about their new positions in life! Yeah, FL gets into a near death situation but it’s not ML’s fault at all, he can’t personally oversee every single person and situation in his mansion, especially if he never did it before!
But it’s a slow burn for sure… Lots of politics, discussions about class and nobility etc

Read up to chapter 30 of the novel. Won’t leave any spoilers but there is a good amount of angst (not overly edgy but not a super wholesome tone either). It seems like a very slow burn, 30 chapters in and they have only had one significant conversation. A lot of political talk, and more than some discussions of classism and sexism in those societies. Artist or tl will probably put them in when needed but just to be sure

@Tatianaaa basically ML is a massive clueless trash he is simply a pathetic guy without a brain…………. FL almost died because of head maid who bullies her ML knew this too, but all he did was warn head maid nothing else, also even after FL proved she is useful he won’t trust her & progress is slow and ML won’t take her help to manage stuff either he’s weirdo…………….
