Ik some folks are talking about how she can just leave and not go back to her family but judging from a previous convo with blue boy, it’s likely very looked down upon. It could be that the society in the story is set like the olden days where women couldn’t divorce without being looked down upon and blamed and husbands having mistresses was common to where the main wife was expected to tolerate and not complain, where women who are abused couldn’t be expected to leave due to the idea that she needs a man by her side despite how trash he may be. Aka a society where women were still 2nd and were expected to bear children and serve their husbands.
