I think this author doesn’t like the duke either, he’s the most dull, boring character, he barely helps the FL at all, only says silly things like don’t get hurt, takes away her salary which she uses for his sake, doesn’t try at all to fight for his love, he’s just kinda nice but I just don’t see how this could become an actual couple when there’s 0 chemistry and connection, so far the most interesting relationships are the saintess, the villainess and the dragon, who all have tried to have an actual connection to her, heck even the prince is trying harder and I don’t like him, but he’s doing something, I really hope the duke gets more interesting in the future smh
