@Blueberry Tea True hahaha. People complaining about FLs who try to follow the og novel is a tale as old as time. I’m genuinely so tired of seeing this and I feel like I’m part of the minority that enjoys both when the FL deviates or follows the novel plot. It’s so boring when you just want the same thing over and over, people!!! And hearing the same complaints like a broken record is so annoying! Just drop and move on.
I hate that FLs in this kind of story insist they’re doing all of this for the characters based on their interpretation of the novel but then only belatedly pay attention to the characters as people right in front of them
