She can’t reveal her healing abilities or else she’ll be run ragged by her family. She has no money. Her family has stamped out any chance of social connections. The servants under her are on their payroll.
Even if someone doubts the rumours, her family has manufactured evidence before. They can bribe witnesses, etc. And who would put their neck out on the off chance a stranger might be being slandered?
How in the world is she supposed to get her family to fear her? She cant hurt them physically. She has no leverage to attack their reputation. And bruises can be explained away by the same people spreading the rumours. If they’re not put in inconvenient places, or left to heal while she’s locked away, or the injuries are made to not leave a trace.
Literally ran away but has literally done nothing to help her situation. I probably would go to the salon and straight up loudly talk about my home situation. I wouldn’t even care if I was beaten. Put doubts in people’s heads. Not only that but people don’t mess with you if they fear you. I would become that worst villain. Fight fire with fire.
