And to be more fair to Lassez, she was bullied way before she even became his spirit, he was in a meeting with the Crown Prince, which I doubt he could leave since his position as the Duke was unstable due to his pact with a spirit that was perceived as low-ranking and weak, so we can’t exactly 100% blame just Lassez alone.

To be fair, I’m not seeing that much of a problem since a lot of Manhwas have similar ML where the ML ignores or neglects the FL, but redeems himself, and he may have ignored his due to pressure from his brother, and even the Crown Prince who is an Imperial Family Member, which makes the pressure that much more higher. As a duke who got his spirit later than his younger brother, and got paired with a low-ranking spirit, I can understand where he’s coming from.
Well, at least that’s my opinion but to each their own. I can see why he’d be disliked. But I just want to say, there’s way worse ML out there, like the ML in The Abandoned Empress. The girl literally marries the person who neglected her in her past life, even after her unborn child died and she was falsely accused of treason. I mean, sure he might have made it up and even fallen for her but that doesn’t erase his past mistakes. But well, like I said, to each their own. I can understand why Lassez is hated, but there are way worse male leads than him, granted most of them are chalked up to past traumatic experiences, but he isn’t as bad as some of the other ML’s I’ve seen in other Manhwa’s with the whole isekai, possession, reincarnation or Regression trope with the Main character being a female.
But that’s just my personal opinion. Y’all are free to express your opinions, no hate on that.
